DJ Layqa creates ecstatic dance journeys that touch the soul of every dancer deeply and personally. As one participant has described: “This journey starts waaaaay slow, engaging every cell of the body in the presence, the flow…. to the feeling body. A flow, a surrender that takes hold of everything. Each new piece is a new section of the road, weaving into a single whole and unpredictable journey.”
From organic house to psy-trance, shamanic rhythms to dance classics, all weave into a sensitive whole under Layqa’s hands. Her ability to read the energy of a room and fuse different musical genres has led to performances all over the world, including at legendary Burning Man and AfrikaBurn festivals.
