About the festival

High on Life — known in Estonia as Ühenduses ("in connection") — began as a small gathering of people who wanted a festival where the depth came first: real conversation instead of small talk, dance instead of drinks, ceremony instead of spectacle.

It grew by word of mouth into what participants now call Estonia's most beloved personal-growth festival: four midsummer days where hundreds of people practise, sing, sweat in the sauna, swim in the lake and meet each other with unusual honesty.

The festival stays deliberately human-sized. You will recognise faces by day two, and by day four the campsite feels like a village that has known each other for years. Many people come alone; nobody leaves alone.

What we stand on

Alcohol-free

No alcohol, no drugs — ever. What's left is remarkable: presence, safety, and highs that come from breath, movement and each other. People are consistently amazed at how open a sober crowd can be.

Nature

Forest, lake, meadow, sauna. The Estonian midsummer — where the sun barely sets — does half the work. We just built a festival inside it.

Connection

Ühenduses means "in connection" in Estonian. Every workshop, circle and ceremony points the same way: deeper contact with yourself, and real meetings with others.
